Pastor Marvin and Lady Tiffany Kirkwood founded Contagious Life Church in 2015 with only 4 people. Pastor Marvin and Lady Tiffany would host vision casting meetings at a local Panera Bread.  Due to the Contagious Spirit, the word begin to spread and those Vision casting meetings became greater and greater. It would eventually birth a desire to take the vision for a church to another level.

In 2016, God spoke to Pastor Marvin Kirkwood and told him to launch Contagious Life Church in April, after receiving direction he needed from God, the Vision was official. Pastor Marvin would go on to launch the church on April 10th, 2016 with over 100 souls in attendance and only 8 leaders.

Since the official launch, Contagious Life Church has experienced radical and Contagious growth and is one of the fastest growing churches in Kansas City. In just under 2 years Contagious Life Church now has over 200 members.

Pastor Marvin and Lady Tiffany Kirkwood have developed a strong leadership team. A ministry that has become a pillar of Hope and Life for our community and a Prophetic voice to Kansas City, Missouri. To conclude, Contagious Life has a primary focus on building strong families, impacting the youth, serving our community and making a lasting difference in the lives of all people across the Globe.

To be Life-Giving, Relevant and Refreshing!

God all-powerful, all-knowing, ever-present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, holy. It is in Him that we live, move, and exist. He is our Father. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises.

Jesus Christ is 100% human but at the same time, 100% God. Having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, he died on the cross as the complete and final sacrifice for our sins. He defeated death in His resurrection so that we could have eternal life.

His presence assures us of our relationship with Christ. We believe that Its purpose in this age is to convict men of sin, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more like Christ.

The Bible is God’s Word, written by men under the influence of the Holy Spirit. Both the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God without any error.

God has existed in a relationship with Himself for all eternity. He exists as one substance in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Although each member of the Trinity serves different functions, they each possess equal power and authority.

Man is made in the image of God and is the supreme object of His creation. The man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost. As a result, man cannot attain the right relationship with God through his own effort. It is only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit that salvation and spiritual life can be obtained. Every human personality is uniquely created, possesses dignity, and is worthy of respect and Christian love.

Man was created to live forever. He will exist either eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is Heaven. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.

The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation is a gift from God, and it cannot be earned through our own efforts.

The Church is a local community of “saved” believers unified through faith in Christ. It is committed to the teachings of Christ and obeying all of His commands and it seeks to bring the Gospel to the world. The Church works together in love and unity with the intent of glorifying Christ.

We believe in the 5-fold ministries (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers) to equip believers in Christ to do the work of service.
